Union Twp. Home Invasion Leads To Stabbing

Union Township police are investigating a home invasion that led to a stabbing Sunday night.
Police were called to the 4400 block of Eastwood Drive around 8:30 p.m.
According to police, two suspects allegedly forced their way into the house when someone opened the door. A struggle immediately ensued.
One of the residents suffered a stab wound and another resident stabbed one of the suspects.
The suspects fled the scene. Investigators believe the suspect who was stabbed checked himself into a local hospital and is suffering from a life-threatening injury.
Both residents were transported to local hospitals. They are listed in serious condition.
Names of the involved parties are not expected to be released until Monday Morning.
