From the MP Site: Good! Tucson Home invasion thwarted (video)

Just saw this at the MP site. Happened 2 days ago

Tucson homeowner thwarts 4 armed BGs, caught onhis home security system.

LiveLeak.com - Homeowner shoots back at M-16/AR-15 wielding robbers

I like the shots and grouping into the BGs windshield!

Jeff Cooper said "A trained man with a pistol and a good cover can ruin a rifle squad" or something close to that.
    Here is a proof !!!
The first rule of a gunfight: "Don't be there !"
The second rule: "Bring enough gun"

Good for the homeowner,I wouldn't call that a rifle squad just a buncha armed punks with no Idea of how to fire and maneuver.I bet 10-1 they are in Mexico by now

It's not surprising they had to ditch the car either, those giant ugly wheels with rubber tires aren't going to handle for :insert word here:, especially with a boat like the 300C non-SRT.

Good for the homeowner, and a reminder that early warning systems can be lifesavers. Whenever I buy a house, I plan to add motion sensors all around the home, especially the driveway so that I know immediately when someone is on my property. Gives you time to prep for war.

That was interesting – I wonder what they were after - also the camera angles and edits did give a broken up time line. Was that the home owner that was seen walking out of his home followed by the car leaving the home?

Interesting how the homeowner keeps his cool as he is shooting and approaching the bg's. Can't believe the brashness of a dailight attack.

What would have happened if the homeowner shot the retreating thugs and killed them? Would he get charged?

Combined with the fact he had a camera and that they weren't shooting back (which we can't necessarily see on the camera), I would say that that would probably not be a good shoot. A fleeing BG is no longer a threat unless he's shooting while fleeing.

Saw this on the news last night. I think this answers that silly question that no everyday person NEEDS any ar/ak big bad so call assault rifle right Mr ?!!? If these guys had more balls/brains and would have made it into the house the home owner would have needed A LOT more then a pistol! Glad he was armed and came out on top
