    A man suspected in a Bullitt County armed robbery last month was shot by police Thursday morning after he allegedly pulled a gun on a bystander after being spotted.

    A Shepherdsville detective noticed a man matching the description of an armed robbery suspect from earlier this month go into a Cash Express. Police say that when the detective approached the man, whose identity has not been released, he ran into a parking lot and then pulled a gun on a civilian who just walked out of a nearby business.

    The detective then shot the suspect, who was taken to University Hospital in Louisville with non-life threatening injuries.
