A lot of good points have been made in this thread. I have not perceived anything as 'heat' - just frankly expressed positions about the subject.

Then later in the same paragraph it says "In THIS incident all shots passed through the windshield or the rear window." I think this is refering to the incident that the main story is about. Note, how could the shots strike the seat back if coming from the front and rear windows, front would strike BG first before seat.

After re-reading I am pretty sure that all rounds passed through one windshield and maybe both front and back before striking the BG.

Makes me want to learn to shoot skeet with a handgun!!! That would get you skilled on fast moving accurate head shot placement better than anything.
