    Don't know if this has been posted, guy just minding his own business
    at a pizza shop when four guys just come in and beat him.

    YouTube - Man allegedly attacked at Va. Beach pizza parlor

    Things would have been very different if he was armed.
    Reporter saying he might now have speech problems. Just cause
    they ain't armed doesn't mean you won't get seriously hurt.

    I try to show my wife the reason people should be armed to defend themselves, too many idiots out there.

    Somewhere a liberal is calling it a "moral victory" because a gun wasn't involved and nobody died.

    Wow... Clearly a case where lethal force would be not only justified, but righteous.

    Tactically though the father and son made two mistakes;

    * Seating them self at a bar with their backs facing the door.
    * Upon being contacted the first time by the two neither of them thought to either leave (!) or to change their location and POV so as o not be run up on again from their rear.

    Even if they'd simply gotten up and put their backs to the counter it would have been an improvement. Nevertheless, the badguys came in prepared. Two unassuming victims vs four prepared attackers... very bad odds, even when armed. I'd prefer to be armed anyway, of course; neutralizing one attacker with a firearm often scatters the remaining "posse."

    While I understand the wisdom of leaving a situation before it gets ugly, that can be a tough call because it might be too late to leave by the time you fully realize what's going on. Besides, standing your ground in a situation like that is important, in my opinion. What good does it do to fight for your 2A rights in the courts and then abandon them in your daily life?

    I'm glad to live in a state that has "no duty to retreat."

    This place is less than two miles from where I live. Re-enforces my resolve to carry, always.

    It is scary some days what this world is coming too and our leaders just want to disarm the lawful and make it easier on criminals.

    Here's a little thought: there are places in every major city in the world where "Officials" will not go(unless in great force), and conflicts are comparatively rare, as they impede the busines of life. When there are conflicts, they are almost always fatal, and never witnessed.

    What can be done to make this "our" neighborhood...?

    On another note, the male news anchor used to work down here for WESH 2 news! Man I wondered where he went!
