Gun goes off in restaurant, kills man
A man displaying a gun in a restaurant accidentally fired it early Saturday morning, killing an acquaintance who was there with him, according to Phoenix police.
Velibor Milic, 19, had the gun out at the restaurant and was bumped, said Detective Cindy Scott, a Phoenix police spokeswoman. The gun discharged, killing a 22-year-old man at about 2:15 Saturday morning.
Milic left the restaurant, at 4340 W. Thunderbird Road, in Glendale, and was later found and arrested at another location.

More fodder for the anti-2A's. You can imagine this imbecile is getting no love on the local AZ forums.
Hmm. 19 and carrying. Either illegal CCW (have to be 21) or open carry. While the latter is legal here, doing so in a more 'urban' part of Phoenix such as Glendale at 2AM is just asking for trouble.

Two points.
At that hour, he was perfectly legal carrying a firearm in a restaurant as alcohol is not served after 2:00AM.
Nothing good happens after midnight. Condolences to the victim and his family. Hopefully, the scumbag will be in prison for a long, long time.

Does no one seem to notice that not many guns, if any at all, ever seem to discharge WHEN LEFT IN THE FORKING HOLSTER?!!??
Absolute idiot!!

Agreed to your agreeance and sub point.
Friends don't let friends 'show' nor 'clean' handguns amongst friends.

Peoples guns going off while cleaning... I don't see how this is possible unless you're mentally defective. Personally I think people say that the person got killed cleaning their gun so as not to let others know that their loved one committed suicide .

I wish that the story would say 'Man discharges weapon accidentally", all of these types of stories make it sound like guns just "go off" by themselves. +1 on all the previous posts.

What business did he have removing his gun from the holster at the restaurant? The last thing anyone should do is unholster a concealed weapon in an open restaurant. This guy was an idiot!

Um...
19 is legal to carry?
Um...
"got bumped"? WTH? WHat kind of safety allows a gun to go off when simply "bumped"?

It seems the shooter did not use the safety located inside his skull, what was the gun doing out of the holster in a restaurant????
