Deputy US Marshal Killed in Mexico
A US marshal was murdered in Mexico. This man had some serious issues. He failed to show in court on a charge of stealing US government property.
Wanted U.S. marshal's body found in Mexico - CNN.com
The body of Deputy Marshal Vincent Bustamante -- who faced federal charges of stealing weapons and other government property -- was found in Juarez on Wednesday, said Marshals Service spokesman Jeff Carter.
Bustamante appeared to have been shot in the back of the head, a federal law enforcement source said.
Chihuahua state police said the body had multiple wounds to the head -- apparently consistent with an execution-style shooting, according to Edgar Roman, a reporter with XHIJ television in Juarez. Watch where the U.S. Marshal's body was found »
Bustamante, 48, was charged with stealing U.S. government property including Glock and Ruger handguns, a shotgun and a pair of binoculars,

Am I reading the story correctly that the charges were U. S. charges, not Mexican ones? "Federal" could mean either one.

Sounds as the saying, "What goes around, comes around." fits here...
If he was already mixed up in illegal activities, it caught up with him.

Sounds like Obama and Holder need to implement a ban on firearms and 'assault weapons', toward the Federal government itself.
They have people and whole agencies losing firearms amongst other equipment left and right.

US charges.
This is from the article. What a sweetheart deal. That US marshal was allowed to have a gun and badge during working hours despite the fact that he was accused of a US federal felony. Way to go feds.
Carter said Bustamante was on "modified status" with the marshals, meaning he had been required to turn in his gun and badge outside of his official work hours

I may be getting out my tinfoil hat here, but I did wonder if something to this effect might be going on....
Just because one is paranoid, that doesn't necessarily mean the world isn't out to get them.
