John Kelso is a mental midget!
"The gun is the great equalizer... For it is the gun, that allows the meek to repel the monsters; Whom are bigger, stronger and without conscience, prey on those who without one, would surely perish."
It would be funny if it was not so sad, ignorant and pathetic.
John Kelso is not an editorial writer for the AAS. He is the local curmudgeon who attempts to write a humorous piece for the paper. I say, "attempts", just because he often fails. His primary purpose in life seems to be to praise the virtues of "bubba-ism" and Austin's weird hippie-like counterculture residents, simultaneously. You can't take his writing seriously. Today's article, for example, made fun of local restaurant that serves organic hamburgers. If you've ever seen Kelso, you can guess that he hasn't missed too many opportunities at a hamburger, organic or otherwise.
Amen, as if criminals ignore any of those places and give a hoot about the pretty little signs.Texas: It's a whole 'nother shooting gallery
... at the Capitol ... movies ... the Alamo ... football games ... bars ... on campus ... Six Flags Fiesta Texas ...
The criminals already take the above list x10 and go to town with it, spreading their evil ways. The relaxing of the laws are intended to do one thing, journalist Mr. Kelso: remove the boot of the neck of upstanding citizens so that they may be armed in all these places where felons already threaten people. Get a clue, pal. It ain't about shootouts. It's about stopping crime the instant it occurs, terminating those assaults, rapes, muggings, robberies and murders we all know and hate.
That's your classic "Writer" with no imagination or talent. He/she has to find something in the news and then be sarcastic about it.
Duty, Honor, Country...MEDIC!!!
