Yeah, motor vehicles should really be banned. So should all dangerous chemicals and kitchen knives, not to mention bodies of water large enough to drown in, electrical appliances, power tools, heights, large animals, and any other murderous things that take it upon themselves to kill people...Oh yeah, don't forget to ban fires and storms, too. And martial arts. And pens.

had incidents such as whats happening on a daily basis in the 60s/

70s so lets ask our selves whats changed.

Obviously, this is a personal opinion by that commenter, but its still interesting to note. Guns were still attainable for the citizen, and self-defense was an accepted reason for issuing a license, before the 60s (I believe I have that right).
