Glad to hear you got it back, probably the longest five weeks of your life though. It looks like the system does work...sometimes.

I am just glad it didnt happen in Arlington. I know a guy that wounded an intruder in Arlington and it took him 4 months to get his shotty back.

It really felt good to have my Primary Carry back on my side. In the past few weeks I have been carrying a Springer Champion.....it is a GREAT gun......but it is still not my Chosen One.

Congrats on getting your primary back. Make sure you treat her right cause she probably been missing ya.

Also just read your other thread. Whast a great story with a good ending. Gotta love Texas self defense and gun laws.

I also just finished reading the original post. Amazing story! I'm glad you got your pistol back. Hopefully they weren't to rough on it during the ballistic testing. I assume that was an automatic measure to see if the gun was used in any previous crimes? Makes sense but I'd still feel naked without mine.

I guess I just need to go pick up a second one, as a spare

If the Situation Had Happened in Florida

You would have been able to keep you gun.

    No civil suits either.

No Civil Suits here either....and got my gun back. They only took it to do ballistics testing on it since I fired it and one of the bullets was not found.....as they would do in any shooting
