The Norman Transcript - NEW: OKC homeowner shoots, kills intruder
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma City police say a man who went home for lunch found an apparent burglar inside and shot and killed him.
Police say 41-year-old Scott Henson called officers about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday and said he had shot and killed a man in his southwest Oklahoma City home.
The dead man has been identified as 29-year-old Ronald Penn of Oklahoma City.
Sgt. Gary Knight says Henson told officers when he arrived at his home he saw a strange pickup in front of the house. Knight says Henson then found Penn hiding inside the home and after a brief struggle Penn was shot and killed.
Knight says it appears there was a second burglar involved but that person has not been identified.
