    Mugger Attacks Wrong Guy

You know, these guys like the "victim" need to wear something so the "Honor Students" and good church going boys don't make this kind of mistake.

    Police: Gun Expert Foils Robber
Self-Defense Expert Near Victim Of Mugging

    POSTED: 9:40 am EDT June 4, 2009

WATERBURY, Conn. -- Police said a would-be robber made a terrible choice when he targeted a Waterbury man, who just happened to be weapons and self-defense expert.
Authorities said the intended victim, Robert Dwyer,53, foiled the attempted mugging Tuesday night by grabbing the gun and fighting with the suspect. Dwyer is a federal Justice Department firearms instructor trained in how to disarm people.
Eddys Marte, 25, was charged with attempted robbery and is being held for a court appearance Thursday.

It's a good thing the guy was trained in disarming the BG. If it would have been a regular CC folk like many of us, the outcome may have been much different.

Eddys Marte ... none too sMart, eh?

He's right where he belongs. If he's got half a brain, he'll realize how easily he could have been terminated. He likely doesn't, though, so we'll see his sorry butt when he gets out. More people are likely going to be damaged by this idiot.

I liked the one where the 72 yr old marine was in the Carribean on vacation and 2 men approached a van full of older travelers to rob them, he took the gun off of one and shot / killed him, and was shooting at the other as he ran away.

Don't mess with WWII vets , esp marines.

Definitely not enough of these stories in the news...
"Who is to say that I am not an instrument of karma? Indeed, who is to say that I am not the very hand of God himself, dispatched by the Almighty to smite the Philistines and hypocrites, to lay low the dishonest and corrupt, and to bust the jawbone of some jackass that so desperately deserves it?"

Geez ... that profession is getting more and more dangerous
