Neutral to Bad - Nobody Hurt, But Robbery Occurred

This armed robbery happened between the city of Easton and the township I live in. Crime is getting closer and closer. The place is used by many college students. It is a few doors down from where I get my hair cut. Shame.

I'd like to reply to this. What if you felt comfortable in summer only carrying your 5 shot 38 spl or your 380 auto. If you saw this image

and you were now downrange to this perp, would you feel confident in your choice of carry? Would you wish for one of the bigger guns you left at the safe due to convenience?

    Just food for thought.

Wawa on College Hill in Easton (Contributed / June 19, 2009)

Easton police say a man armed with a handgun robbed the Wawa on College Hill early this morning.

No one was injured in the robbery, which occurred just after midnight at the convenience store at 225 Cattell St., police said. The robber entered the store wearing a bandana over his face, showed a handgun, demanded cash and fled with an undetermined amount of money and cartons of cigarettes, said police Detective Joseph Alonzo.

The robber was described as about 5 feet 9 inches tall with a heavy build and blue eyes. He was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, light colored blue jeans and white sneakers.

Anyone with information should contact Alonzo at 610-250-6780 or the Easton Police Department at 610-330-2200.

This is getting all to common. Anytime you see someone in a hoodie in hot temperatures, that just signals a crime going someplace to happen. I guess people just think they are cold blooded and need the covering?
