MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police in Memphis are investigating three killings in an hour's time.

Just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday, police responded to a call about a home invasion in progress. They arrived to find a man holding a gun and shot him after telling him several times to lay down the weapon. His name wasn't immediately released, but The Commercial Appeal reported he was 38 years old.

At 1:48 a.m., police responded to a call and found pizza deliveryman Stephen Faulkner lying in the front yard of a vacant building. They believe the 38-year-old Faulker was a robbery victim.

Ten minutes later, police received a call and found a 48-year-old woman dead on the floor of a bedroom. Investigators believe the death was a homicide, but were awaiting a coroner's report on the cause of death. The victim wasn't identified.
Looking pretty rough down there in Memphis. Sounds like Philly

This is just a reflection of an increased threat to all of us in any city. A lack of the value of life is present everywhere.

Meanwhile the City Council urges businesses to post no gun signs, tries to ban legal CC in parks.....doing everything they can to make sure that only the BG's have guns.

Collins and Fullilove are the main culprits....dummies.

Yep...sad to say, just another day in Mempho, TN

I'm a 55 year old Memphian, (now living in Collierville) and it is frustrating to see what this city had turned in to.

Just another reason why I got the permit...

I used to live 40 minutes outside of Philly. Never felt like I needed to carry protection. Here in Little Rock I feel I do and was inspired to get my CHL after being accosted downtown for money one time too many.

I can't believe what they are doing in Memphis with restricting concealed carry around Beale Street. Senseless if you ask me

Certain cities I refuse to spend the night in if I have to make a delivery there. Memphis, and West Memphis in Arkansas, are definitely on my list.
