I agree that this miscarriage of justice should have never happened. I have watched this case closely since it begun. Now just a reminder how important it is to be mindful that to pull your gun and shoot someone could end up costing you years of your life, all your assets and time from your family.
Take this as a lesson against "warning shots". The prosecutor harped on that. If Fish had killed the aggressive dogs, he would have been justified. If the deceased had continued his threatening movement toward Fish, he would have been justified (under the original statutes). If you have a sufficient threat, and feel the need to use deadly force, USE IT.
