My Pop will be 79 April and gun or no gun the dude is bad!
Was in WW-II, the Korean war, served in the Air Force and the Navy, received a black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do at either age 65 or 67 and has worked out pretty much all of his life.
Do not underestimate the power of a well taken care of older person.
I once made the mistake of crossing the line and apparently said the wrong thing to my Mom when I was young and dumb and thought I knew everything and found myself knocked out cold laying flat on my back and had no clue as to what happened. The crazy thing about it is I was unhurt, had no bruise, no pain, wasn't bleeding anywhere and to this day I have no idea how he took me out. He said that if it happened again I would not wake up undamaged. Like I said this happend once.
He is not proud of having to do it and I learned very quick what line NOT to cross ever again. Old people will jack you up if they want to and you deserve it.
Rumor has it that my Mom dang near took him out for touching her baby!![]()

Train and train hard, you might not get a second chance to make a first impression!
I vote for Monica Lewinsky's Ex-Boyfriend's Wife for President.....Not!
Are you sure about that? I was under the impression that it was alot worse, including revoking your license.Originally Posted by elance

Depends on the state when the property is other than what is already proscribed by law. So excluding schools and post offices, etc and by and large here we're talking private property, like a MALL. If those little signs are posted, the FLORIDA law says that the carrying of concealed weapons is forbidden on the property even if there is a valid CCW permit and IF the wearer is detected carrying a weapon, they will be asked to leave the premises. If they again return with the weapon and are AGAIN detected...they MAY be arrested for Trespass After Warning a misdemeanor. So in effect it's a policy by a property holder. I never sweat those. The only way I'll be detected is if I have to go to condition red and DRAW.Originally Posted by BCurry1

well the police say they have one of the perps captured , however seems the one shot hasn't surfaced .
must be slow ,still dragging his sorry shot up ass across the floor or sumptin.
Add another + to that!75 only sounds old. My dad is 73 and is very alert, capable and energetic. Heck, he's probably iin better shape than I am since he quit smoking years ago!
I play Lacrosse for a divisionII team in Ocala, with a 76yr old man. It’s a rare sight to see him on the bench. It’s hard to find people my age that is tough enough to play Lacrosse!
I can only hope to be in as good of shape in my 50's, much less my 70's.
Thats a tough one. I mainly see my CCW for me and mine and would hesitate to intefere. However, the guy had a few things going for him. He was old and not only was his life at stake so was the store employees. Just my 2cents.
Listen, Think and React.....Nuff Said.....
It would be interesting to know more details.ulsa Police Sgt Mike Huff: "Fired a couple of shots. One hit one of the suspects in the mid-torso area. We feel he is seriously injured."
How close was he?
Where in relation to other people?
Where did the other shot go?
By torso, I assume they mean from the front, but I would suspect the robbers were facing the register, unless one was facing the other customers.

Isn't it amazing that he saved the day and they (the media) are looking for a "NO Firarms Allowed " sign.
George Washington: "A free people ought to be armed."
Good for the Old Guy I hope all is well with him. May be dead for the Bad Guy sounds good to me. One less dirt bag to worry about.

we tell the police where to go and they have
to do it. Policy manual says so.![]()
