Florida Church Robbery...
LAKE WORTH — Parishioners at a Lake Worth church thwarted a robbery by rushing a gunman who burst in and demanded money during an early morning service.
Eighteen-year-old Ludesson Nestor allegedly tried to rob the Spanish-language service in English. Some attendees didn't understand what he was saying, but others fought back. Nestor was overtaken, disarmed and held down until Palm Beach County deputies arrived.
No one was hurt in the incident. Nestor was arrested on several charges of robbery and aggravated assault.
Too bad somebody in the congregation wasn't armed like the church in Kentucky. There wouldn't have been a need to hold the guy down I bet. Instead, the taxpayers of Florida will just have to foot the bill on this guy for the next 10 years as that will be his mandatory sentence.

+1 for the Hispanic members who fought back and prevailed. May their tribe increase, and may they always have the common sense to resist the BS that is foisted upon them by white America that it is better to surrender than to succeed.

Now, who was asking why I always carry in church?
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

LAKE WORTH - When a gunman stormed a Saturday morning church service at Ministerio Pentecostal Manantial De Vida, worshipers didn't turn the other cheek.
They turned the tables on him.
Normal services at the Spanish-language church were interrupted around 5 a.m. when a masked man burst in, pointed the gun at attendees and tried to rob them – in English.
"[He] came in asking for money, with [a mask] on and a gun," said Mirian Padilla, who was at the service. "[He] said ‘I'm going to kill you,' but we didn't understand much else because they spoke in English…I was so scared."
Instead of rolling over, some of the worshipers rushed the man, disarmed him and held him down until deputies could arrive, said Teri Barbera, spokeswoman for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. They arrested Ludesson Nestor, 18, of West Palm Beach, on charges of robbery with a firearm and aggravated assault with a firearm.
It wasn't his first arrest, court records show. He was charged in 2008 with robbery as a juvenile. He pleaded guilty to the charge and was placed on probation until age 19, according to the court docket.
Palm Beach County's churchgoers have proved a hardy bunch over the years. In 2006, members of the Church of the Nazarene in West Palm Beach turned to sleeping inside their church after a spate of burglaries. It paid off on March 24, 2006, when a prowler broke in through a second-story window, opened a door and walked into a church-goer's swinging baseball bat.
They hog-tied the burglar until police could arrest him.
No one was hurt in Saturday's attempted robbery and Nestor was being held without bond in the Palm Beach County main jail.
"He absolutely did mess with the wrong church at the wrong time," Barbera said.

A substantial number of churches have armed security guards and off-duty police officers/sheriff's deputies protecting their congregations.
There are also a significant and growing number of churches that don't have a problem with their members who have carry permits, packing their concealed guns in church.
