It doesn't matter where you live,there are laws,I'm not saying I agree with their gun laws,but if you break the law there are consequences,and he knew he was breaking the law,he's just lucky nobody was killed by a possible ricochet

He probably only serve half of that sentence because he has lots of money. I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.

Even though I believe that such laws requiring permission to carry a gun are unconstitutional, you must be aware that violating even such a stupid law has consequences.
I am not bothered in the least that he carried a gun in NY.
What bothers me is that he is so stupid or careless that he did not bother to adequately secure the gun.

$50.00 holster would have saved him millions. But what kinda ganstza carries in a holster. Nope, mexician carry all the way. It may be natural reaction to try to grab a sliding gun down the pants leg but if you let in slide down an hit the floor no harm no foul.
