One home invader shot and killed but 2 got away.

I saw this story on Dayton's FOX 45 last night and once again they had a policeman during the interview refer to the perpetrator that was shot and killed as the "victim".

Like Charlie Brown used to say... I just can't stand it.

This brings up a good point.

When someone just barges into your home unexpectedly and is armed, where will you be and where will your firearm be? In another room of the house?
This is something to consider and you don't want to store them in the living room or places where kids can find them and yet you may need it in the entry room when someone barges in instantly.

I have a long driveway myself so I will know well before they get to my front door. People in the suburbs don't have that luxury though.

I asked a guy who was taking my daughter on a date if he knew what the difference between a rifle and a shotgun was...

I told him, if you mess with my daughter.... the rifle is just in case I miss you with the shotgun.

He had her home 2 hrs early, and never went on a 2nd date. Daughter was ticked at me..... LOL.


Apparently this homeowner didn't own a rifle if 2 got away. (only kidding).
