"Bad move to try and hide the body, but hopefully the most serious charge he faces involves evidence tampering."

Well it WOULD HAVE BEEN really easy to verifiy his story by matching it to the crime scene evidence but, since he radically tampered with the crime scene he probably really screwed himself in a mighty bad way.

"Police said the incident may be reclassified to self-defense."

Maybe & Maybe not. Tampering, Destruction of evidence, Failure to report.

Hm. I don't suppose he knows a competent attorney, but I think he's going to need to speak with someone truly on his side. Though, it appears as if the investigators are giving some credence to his story at this point.
I wonder if this is bad, bad Leroy Brown.

As said before had he not tampered with the evidence they could have compared it with his statement of events. He may have sealed his own fate.

I'm surprised they're even talking about reclassifying it. I hope this guy doesn't get the book thrown at him.

I have no problem with putting the trash where it belongs...I hope it is reclassified as self-defense...if that what it truly is...
