Man Pulls Gun in Case of Road Rage

Police are looking for a man suspected of pointing a gun at another driver in a case of road rage in Cape Coral.

Todd Goff, 24, said he was turning onto Del Prado Boulevard from Pine Island Road on Tuesday afternoon.

He said he drove around a Silver Honda ahead of him that wasn’t turning.

This angered the driver in the Honda, Goff told police.

The driver of the Honda pulled alongside his car and started cursing, Goff said.

The man then pulled out a gun and pointed it at him, Goff told officers.

Goff said he was frightened and drove to the Cape Coral police station to give a statement.

Police are looking for the driver of the Honda, described as a man in his late 20s with long, light brown hair, reports state.

The driver had a passenger in the car, a man also in his late 20s, heavyset build, short red hair and a goatee, reports state.

The car is described as a 1994 to 1996 silver-colored Honda Civic with dark tinted windows.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Cape Coral Police Department at 574-3223 or Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-8477.

A very good reason to keep your cool when driving, but and even better reason to keep your self prepared and armed!

Agreed on the armed part. Sometimes the most dangerous part of a day is in the driving.

Plus a good reason to have a cell phone on you, and a good reason to get a license plate number.

If Goff had been armed and opened fire on Mr. Road Rage... that would have been an interesting story!
