I saw that in my local newspaper yesterday. Rather informal self defense class wasn't it? Crime impacts us well beyond the initial circumstance. The reason this person suffered injury was due to a criminal act in the first place. Think about it. An unnecessary accident....well, yes...that too. But this person never would have been in this position to get hurt if it hadn't have been for the criminal acts against him to begin with. Has anyone else ever thought how things get from point A to point B? Follow me? The incident itself was influenced by an outside cause. A tragedy nonetheless, but take your self defense courses from a reputable or schooled individual, and have some common sense about firearms to begin with. You dive right in.....and the waters may very well be shark infested. Live and learn.....or die.

I'd stay indoors for awhile if I was this guy.
