Good job on his part. However, I would now be more concerned for his safety after the interview. Knowing his firepower limitations, perps or others may be back. If I were his dad and knew that he was already responsible with a weapon, I would now teach him to use and give him access to something more potent and with a higher capacity.
Great story! But watching the video, I got the impression that they studiously avoided showing the lad's shotgun - the footage that was aired focused on the Airsoft pistol. Anyone else get the sense that the editing deliberately steered away from the shotgun?

I dont think so. At the end when the host asked him about what he brought then it was as if he was going to talk about everything, but then had to stop for time limitations. I doubt fox would be the ones shying away from gun ownership. If it was CBS or CNN maybe, but I don't expect that so much from Fox.

The boy was slow to speak overall and when asked to show his guns he was slow to react and stammered about to put hands to anything coming up only with an airsoft pistol.
The interviewer is on a clock that counts down by the second.

I know its only an airsoft but I sort of wish he handled it more carefully. And Im not so sure how I feel about the shooting each other with these either.
Minor point in view of his wonderfully successful handling of a serious situation, I know.

I always love the comment, I didn't think it would happen here because I live in a good part of town. Well, does everyone think a burglar is going to go to a bad part of town, or try to steal good stuff ? LOL.
Good that it worked out that way. Don't know why he shot a warning shot outside or should have..... if they were initially coming inside the glass door.
