Man shot while at intersection

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) - Authorities say a man is in critical condition after being shot in the head at a south Oklahoma City intersection.

Oklahoma City police Master Sgt. Gary Knight said Monday that the victim was at a stop sign in his sport utility vehicle at Blackwelder Avenue and an Interstate 240 service road when a white pickup truck pulled up behind him.

An occupant in the truck got out, approached the victim's vehicle and fired a gunshot.

Knight said the victim is in critical condition at a local hospital.

The victim's name wasn't released.

I heard about this last night, it happened a couple of miles from our c-store. The local news said the bad guy talked to the victim before shooting him, saying words to the effect of "you don't mess with me". Thus, this was no random shooting, if the news people have it right.
