I worked with this Palestinian guy back in Michigan. He always stated that it is the Muslim fringe that causes all this violence. But the trouble with being a "fringe" is that there are over 1 billion Muslims, if 10% would like to actively seek the destruction of the west, that is a 100 million people that are in this fringe. You may need to add another 100 million that agree with the fringe but do not actively cause the violence.

Yeah, that's always my struggle. How does anyone know who the bad ones are? Once you read the life stories of many of these people that get caught, you many times get the he was such nice guy that lived next door comments.

If you look back through history, many people have been killed in response to a distorted view of their religion, not just Islam.

Not easy to live with, but it is the world we live in so prepare the best you can and stay aware.

Something else I'd like to know is "WHY don't the so-called peaceful muslims speak out against terrorism?"

Why were muslims dancing in the streets after 9/11 if they are so "peaceful"?

They just had a one of Abdullah's buddies on the news and that's how I found out that he was not a terrorist at all, he was a community activist. Hmmm.
