TUKWILA, Wash. -- Just after a memorial service for slain Seattle police Officer Tim Brenton concluded Friday afternoon, officers shot and arrested a man suspected in his killing.
Tukwila police spokesman Mike Murphy said officers were serving a search warrant at an apartment complex when the suspect pulled a gun and was shot.
The man was loaded onto a stretcher and rushed to a hospital, but his condition was not known.
Police have surrounded the apartment complex in the 14300 block of 56th Ave South to make sure no one else is inside.

This incident happened right next to my work place. I was having a late lunch at Galliano's. On my way back I see about 30-40 police cruisers on both sides of the road coming towards me. Me and some other drivers went over the sidewalks and into some of the buildings to let the cops get into the apartments on the hill. SWAT soon followed.
