Good guy shoots part of bad guy's finger off (Merged)

The good guy (CWP holder) was not very smart to let this situation develop as it did, but at least he was lucky and the outcome was good.

Some people only learn from their mistakes. No matter how stupid or dangerous they are. I bet he wont be giving rides to strangers anymore.

That's funny, but something to consider!
First off the guy freaking crazy to give someone a lift. Girl, Guy no one rides without me knowing them!
In this world I do not think so. The guy is very lucky that his "FINGER" didn't get shot off.

I bet no one in that car could hear for awhile.

I do not give rider to anyone unless I know them personally.

I dough the finger will ever grow back, and the BG is lucky to only loose part of one finger.

This story sounds all kinds of fishy to me.

The lesson: don't give rides to sketchy looking people you don't know!

The other lesson: have enough unarmed combat skills to get a better shot placement than the pinky.

Our world has become a sad place. You can't even give a guy a ride without risking your life. This is exactly why my wife and I have our CCW licences. I just hope that my wife can see the danger in situtations like that. She's such a sweetheart to people. We're both what I consider "good" people. We like to help our "neighbor" out. Every day you here stories like this and it truly hurts my feelings to see what America has become. Granted, there are good people out there that need help. But, how do you tell the difference? We went on a mission trip to Zambia, Africa this last summer. The last day we were there, we were approached by this kid needing money. I couldn't tell if the kid was honest or lying. My wife and I said a short prayer with him. Was this kids situation really that bad? Did the fact that I didn't help him out with a few dollars hurt him? I don't know. This was in Africa but, It happens here all the time also. I know we all get approached by homeless people begging for money or needing rides almost every day. Who do help? Which ones do run off? Sorry, i'm ranting. Dark Days.....
