UPDATE: Police seek leads in home invasion

Suffolk police are asking for help from the public in locating two suspects wanted in a home invasion robbery on Wednesday morning.
According to police, two men with weapons broke into the home in the 1000 block of Custis Road about 5:30 a.m. They approached the 80-year-old homeowner while he was in bed, and then took cash and the victim’s vehicle. The victim was not injured.
The vehicle, a maroon 2002 GMC Envoy like the one in the above photo, was found a few blocks away later in the day.
The suspects are described as black males in their 30s or 40s.
Anyone with information about the robbery should contact Crime Line at 1-888-Lock-U-Up. Crime Line callers do not have to give their names or appear in court. If a caller’s information leads to an arrest, the caller can qualify for a reward of up to $1,000.
