    Yikes! The "Trust" Game?

"Trust," the game that Garcia and Hernandez reportedly were playing, involves a person pointing a handgun at another person.

"It's a game of confidence, a game of trust," Victor Garza, chairman of the San Benito Veterans Advisory Board, said. "Usually the weapon is unloaded."
...or maybe a game of complete stupidity?

    from this article:
Airman Fatally Shot in 'Trust' Game

This is pretty unbelievable, what on earth are people thinking sometimes, I just don't get it.

Yeah, but it sure makes things suck for the rest of us.

For those that always cite the following:

"If I'm old enough to fight and die I should be able to" drink, carry, keep weapons base...Whatever, these guys are the reason you can't.

Greetings, fellow Members. Small World we live in.

I'm quite familiar with this tragic story as I am the decedent's mother's boyfriend.

    RIP, Michael.

I bet that Airman Hernandez won't be able to trust his 'new' roomate(s) either...

It's a tremendous loss for both families.

Michael enlisted in the Air Force right after graduation and served our Country proudly. With the hope of not breaching military classified information, I can proudly state that Michael was involved in numerous [successful] high profile missions into hot zone theaters. He accomplished two tours in the middle east,.. before his decision to re-enlist, just a few months ago.

All this at the age of 23.

It is indeed a tremendous loss for both families.

Sorry for "slowing down" the thread. I felt compelled to interject.

    Carry-on...

A sad affair indeed. If it happens that the behavior that led to this tragic end was resulting from things seen or experienced in combat then I would regret anything disrespectful that I posted in this thread.
