Man shot during home invasion

HUNTINGTON, WV -- Jason Michael Moore, 34, was in critical condition Sunday after a being shot in the chest Friday at his Huntington home.
Emergency crews responded to a reported shooting on McVeigh Avenue about 10 p.m. Friday and found Moore at the scene, a press release from the Huntington Police Department said.
Evidence from the scene indicated there was forced entry into Moore's home at 1812 McVeigh Ave., and that a struggle ensued in the home, Sgt. John Williams of the Huntington Police Department said in the release.
Moore was transported to St. Mary's Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition Sunday evening, a nursing supervisor said.
More information will be released after further investigation.
