If a state agrees that certain minimum standards are to be met for its citizens in order to carry firearms, then that's the measure people must meet.Of all the stupid ideas... Politicians may kowtow to the NRA, but us private citizens can laugh at them for the idiots that they are. This is patently asinine. Next thing they'll want guns in grammar schools. All that is required for stupidity to prevail is for smart people to do nothing.
It's a real stretch to suggest that people who are otherwise upstanding and seeking no troubles would magically turn into slavering maniacs because of location. Same person, same morals, same training, same basic ability to be an upstanding citizen ... and yet, such a person is supposed to spontaneously combust if allowed to come near a university campus. There is nothing to support such an idea, other than fear of the sky falling.
Your best weapon is your brain. Don't leave home without it.
