There we have it again folks... I can't possibly blame the girl for being brutally attacked, but if she hadn't been diddling in drugs and hanging with the wrong crowd this might NOT have happened.

Loudoun County, VA: A man with ties to the Ashburn, VA area was charged today with the sexual assault of a 14-year-old female on January 27, 2010.

Kofi Owusu-Ansah Anning, 19, of no fixed address, is charged with two counts of forcible sodomy (§ 18.2-67.1.) and a probation violation. The suspect allegedly met the victim at a fast food restaurant in the Junction Plaza Shopping Center around 7:45 p.m. A group, including the suspect and the victim, left the restaurant and walked together on a nearby path with the understanding they were going to share narcotics. While on the trail the suspect isolated the victim from the group and sexually assaulted her.

Authorities were notified of the incident later that same evening.

Anning is currently being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center.

As a father of girls, this scares me enough to have already discussed it with them. They detest hearing stuff like that but it puts it in thier head that it CAN, and does, happen.

That 14 yo victim did know better....knew drugs and that behavior was wrong....and made that choice anyway. Not a good way to learn a lesson.

The 19 yo rapist knew better too.

The guy should of known better but how many times now do you hear that a 30 something yr old is date'n (having a "relationship) with someone under the age of 18.

Ok, she was going to go and do drugs and I drill this into my daughters long ago also, watch what you do and who you go with, but this dude isolated her and raped her, no matter what they were doing, he is at fault for his actions period and he should be taken out and done away with.

It shows how drugs impair your ability to reason. She was old enough to know what she was doing was putting herself in danger but did it anyway. The perp should fry for abusing a minor, it's bad enough when it's an adult.

Poor girl, I hope she tries to make better decisions in the future. Not just about drugs but about isolating herself with untrusted(and possibly trusted) men.

'Scuse me? The girl should have known better and paid a horrible price for making a series of very bad, very stupid DECISIONS.
This dog was going to attack somebody regardless. If the girl had gone home and watched a movie or chatted on the phone with a friend, she'd be safe and sound.
The guy didn't have to go looking for a victim, she followed the group (DECISION) to engage in illegal narcotics (DECISION). It's not completely clear HOW he got her away from the group, but it doesn't say he dragged her away kicking and screaming.
I don't think it's a huge leap to assume she thought they were just pairing off to make out and talk in private.
The decisions we make have consequences.
I'm sorry if that sounds cold and harsh, but it's a cold harsh world.

I hope they put him in "general population" in prison, AND let it slip that he raped a minor. My understanding is, guys like that get SPECIAL attention from the other inmates.

Worked as a CO for awhile. I can tell you that it is true. First they rape the baby raper, then they cut the guy and finally the relationship goes totally to crap.
