Anti-gunners seem to believe that if we just pass enough laws, we can have utopia. Unfortunately, utopia is NOT one of our choices.
Good job. LoL, I like the one comment: "Good job homeowner for exercising your 2nd amendment right. To bad the homeowner didn't allow the criminal to exercise his right to remain silent."

Glad the homeowner is okay but good Lord... why would you open your door at 1am?![]()
ALWAYS carry! - NEVER tell!
"A superior Operator is best defined as someone who uses his superior
judgement to keep himself out of situations that would require a display of his
superior skills."
Yep and yep.
People like to refer to their home as being their castle, yet they will at a moments notice and for no reason at all drop their defenses and open the main gate to their castle as to _anyone_ at any time.
What is the point of having doors if you'll just open them for any reason at all? Never mind all the people who keep and sleep with their doors and windows as unlocked.

Kudos to the home owner for defending his home, but he could have avoided some problems if he hadn't answered the door...just waited quietly with his firearm and phone.![]()
"That I cannot do."
"Give this to, uh, Clemenza. I want reliable people, people who aren't going to be carried away. After all we're not murderers in spite of what this undertaker thinks."

Good enough, but the story sure leaves a lot out as to why he wasn't armed at that time in the morning, how he got a hold of a weapon if they forced him into a back bedroom, just curious stuff to me.
I'm glad they caught two of the punks.

1 a.m. is not the time to be opening your door at least not unarmed.
That fact is I would not open the door even armed at that time. Call 911 and stand by.
