HOUSTON – Police said a homeowner catches two suspected burglars in the act and stabs one who was holding his television set. It happened in the 10000 block of Bowman in north Houston. The homeowner arrived home to find a suspicious truck parked in front of his house, according to police. Two suspects had kicked in the front door of his home.
The homeowner retrieved a knife and confronted a suspect who was holding his television. The homeowner lunged at the suspect, stabbing him. The knife went through the suspect's arm and into his chest.
The other suspect fled the scene. The injured suspect told police that he thought it was the other suspect’s home. It’s one if those deniable accountability alibis,” said Officer Jim Adkins, of HPD’s Investigator First Responder Division. The injured suspect was transported to the hospital for treatment.
