    Hmmm.

A few of those "claymores" set around my trashcan might keep the critters out.

A couple of those airsoft claymores might just keep the neighbors dogs off my property.

On a more serious note, my wife told me that one of the girls she works with was walking her dog with her husband when they found a live gernade on the shoulder of the road.

They called 911 and the responding officer called the bomb squad. While they were waiting he asked them if they had heard any shooting going on in the area.

They both work second shift and had not heard any thing out of the ordinary.

I don't know if it was real or a trainer or what. The bomb squad treated it as real as far as I know.

Hmm, I think that the claymores are illegal. They "shoot" (propel) a lot of 6mm bb's all at once with a "remote control." Which makes them either a "spring gun" or a "multiple projectile with one trigger pull" (Full Auto) firearm. I really think that they would fit in the AOW category as well.

The landmines are an amazing piece of tech. "Powder puff" takes on a whole new meaning.

They are Airsoft. Not a Firearm, air not fire. This is a toy, the other is a weapon. Therein lies the difference.

The problem is that in some states a "weapon" is described as anything which propels an object through either a "explosive" reaction (gunpowder) or by air, or by any other method (bowstring).

By that definition the claymores are illegal since they "propel" multiple objects with one pull of the trigger. The fact that air is the power source means nothing.

Gotcha, thanks! I doubt I will buy one, but I will certainly check my local ordnances first.
