My wife got caught short in a situation

To start off with, this was a rare occasion that she didn't arm up before leaving the house. Yes she has learned her lesson. I'm at work so she calls me right after this happened.

An hour before dusk she ran down to the gas station for milk. Upon returning home, a car pulled in to the driveway behind her. She quickly hustled the kids into the house, and noticed one of the car's doors ajar. Once they were all inside and she was armed, she saw the car leaving. After a few minutes, she went outside to see if everything was OK. Someone in the car had puked in the driveway.

So no evil intent apparently but the situation was a bit intense for a few minutes.

She didn't carry and failed to notice she was followed?
    Tsk, tsk

Maybe there was evil intent but the kid got too nervous and puked, then left. You never know. Why would you follow someone into their driveway?

I don't think she was 'followed' so much as happened to have just pulled in when the ill person pulled in. My driveway is shaped like a teardrop, and it takes almost 10 car-lengths to get from the highway to the front door.

Oddly, we get cars several times a month that use our driveway to turn around, either by pulling in and backing out, or they use the teardrop to go around.

She did however say that she thought a similar car was at the gas station when she left. Keep in mind though my wife usually takes a couple minutes to organize herself once she gets home (women, don't ask!), before she gets out of the car, so the guy could have pulled up while she was preoccupied in the car.
