Hi folks. Joined this forum a few days ago. Bought a G 19 Friday and have been, unsucessfully, trying to register on Glock Talk. It will not accept my IP address. I email the adm. for help at "support@glocktalk.com" and get no response. Is anyone here also a member of Glock Talk that could forward my request to the G.T. adm. My email address is mmcmanus100@yahoo.com

GlockTalk is a little picky. They will not accept Yahoo mail accounts and some others. That is likely your problem. If you have another email account, try that and see if it works.

Use the email address that you get from your internet provider and after you get registered at GT, change it to your yahoo addy in your profile.

Thats gota be it, I had the same with my yahoo e mail address, but registered with my ISP provided e mail and no problems.

Well, I've been in the same boat you're in before. Quite frankly, I don't think I'm missing much not registering over there. I do have an ISP server based email address now, but I'd rather stick around here as well. I just got a sneaky feeling that GT might up my blood pressure a bit. I don't know why.

I used to post on Glocktalk, but at my request, was banned over there.
I found it to be an infantile operation whose members spent too much time playing, "Let's see who can pee higher up the tree."
