Didn't see a friendly reminder anywhere, but with changing the clocks this past week-end, I hope everyone checked and/or changed the batteries in their smoke detectors. Also be sure to install a few extra around the house. A few minutes of prevention can prove to be priceless.

Great reminder. Being a nasty weekend,(wether wise) my wife and I broke out the ladder and made the rounds around the house. Vacuuming, battery changes and function tested all of them. We also inspect all of our fire extinguishers too.
