    That is one determined dog.

Dogs that will do that will go after other objects as well, such as a kid walking by.

Like the dog ("Teabag?") in the Ford truck ad:
    "....Whaddya think of CHEVY????"
If you watch the video..it actually looks like the dog is PULLING the cruiser BACKWARDS!!!!
Wondering if there might have been traces of "road kill" on the bumper...and poor Fido was hungry......!!

To stop the dog from continuing to destroy the front of the squad car. I would guess that officers don't feel the attachment to their squad cars that they would toward their personal vehicle. But if that had been me, in my car, I would have driven away to stop the continued damage to my vehicle. If that had involved running over the dog...so be it.

This is from the comments on the video. He must be an anti. Anti-dog. From the Fox video, the dog, Winston, is usally very well behaved.

I think something just set off the dog to that cruiser. The cruiser might have hit another animal earlier and the bumper had the sent on it of blood and flesh and the dog was after that.

This is a good possibility. Obviously, the bumper had previous damage otherwise the dog would have had nothing to hang onto.

What the video doesnt show is the dog being picked up. It couldnt stop wagging its tail, licking faces and just generally being thrilled to be alive. This dog is not at all aggressive to people. It's a sweetheart. It just loves to play. It spends its days walking around a welding company yard, with no people interaction. It sees a way out of its fence and it sees something to play with and its game time. What dog doesnt like a good game of tug-o-war?? I was on the long list of people ready to adopt this dog.
