Back overseas...
Just arrived in Bogota last night. So far, with my VERY limited exposure, it's a pretty amazing place.
Going to the range to qual tomorrow - I hear it's a very nice facility run by the Colombian military (apparently their Cavalry branch is HQed/trained there). I'll keep you guys posted on anything interesting going on down here...
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Is Bogota really "over seas"? Thats just what popped into my critical thinker...
At any rate, I'd love to go there someday. I've heard its a very interesting place. Stay safe and keep us updated.

Well, heck, I flew over the Carribean to get here! That's a sea, right? :)
Yeah, I know it may not seem as exciting as some of my other posts, but I'll tell you that it's got most all of 'em whooped when it comes to quality of life...
Also, the range was pretty nice. Nothing fancy, but 200m and the freedom to do what we needed to do without interference. Can't ask for too much more.

The preceding post may contain sarcasm; it's just better that way. However, it is still intended with construction and with the Love of my L-rd Y'shua.

I wouldn't go to that country if someone paid me a million dollars.
That said, have fun and be safe. Hope you can do both.

It ain't like it was 10 years ago, and even then it wasn't that bad. Media hype x1000, reality x1. I feel safer in my neighborhood here than in most big cities in the US.

Bogota is a fun place to be. I spent almost 3 months there in '98 and had a blast. The night life is fun and the foods are great. Stay safe and enjoy!!!
