I stumbled upon this blog that was written by a man who grew up in the USA but moved to Argentina and lived through their 2001 economic collapse. He offers insight and advice from someone who as lived through what I believe will be happening here very soon. Call me an alarmist, but google "dollar collapse" and do some research and you'll see what I mean.
Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy this as much as I did. It takes a while to read, but it's well worth it.

That is really interesting ,thanks.
Lots of stuff to read on that site. Thanks
Good read...Thanks for the post.
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.
Yeah, I thought so, this is FerFal's blog. He's a pretty prolific writer and gives SHTF advice from real-life experience.
It seems he's pretty well respected and referenced on gun-related/survival websites.
It's possible he's written a book, though I'm not sure about that?
Turn the election's in 2014 to a "2A Revolution". It will serve as a 1994 refresher not to "infringe" on our Second Amendment. We know who they are now.........SEND 'EM HOME. Our success in this will be proportional to how hard we work to make it happen.
Wow, what a great read! Thanks for the link.

Thanks for the post, will check it out!
Wow..that's a LOT of stuff on that site. Looks like some very interesting content. Thanks for posting.
A real man loves his wife, and places his family as the most important thing in life. Nothing has brought me more peace and content in life than simply being a good husband and father.

Great read for those who say it couldn't happen here. It's not that we are all going to die, but things could get real 'shakey' for awhile...plan ahead with food, water, and ammo...have a plan for if/when TSHTF.
I already have this 'bookmarked' from a previous post...there is a lot to read through.

That's a pretty depressing post...but I ordered the guy's book anyway. *sigh*

This author has some very interesting points in here. I must say that his general observations are valid and can be compared to what might happen in this country also.
I'm not sure on his choice of weapon as far as revolver to auto, but that's my personal choice of course.
I'll keep reading. I do of course suscribe to a survival site, not a nut site, but a true survival site that enlightens about food, water and such as this author did. It's always good to be prepared, the real good thing that military taught me and natural disaster further taught me.

I check his site almost every day, and have read all the older posts on that site. Lots of good info.
I stumbled upon a way to read comments to his posts also. If you go to the left side of the page and scroll down until you come to the individual post titles, and then click on them, you get whatever comments people made about that specific post.
If you just read from the main page, the post responses are excluded.
He's down to earth and IMO has a lot of common sense, in addition to his experiences of living through the economic chaos when things went bad in Argentina.
Wow. Confidently bookmarked.
If you're going to carry one weapon, might as well carry two, because as the saying goes, "Two is one, and one is none."
"Liberals can decline or whine, but I will still carry and conceal mine." - Cold Warrior. Excellent quote good sir!
