"creativity" ... has gone down the tubes in Hollywood.

Remakes, are about trying to take something that was successful at the time, and making even more money off of it.

This may be true and I'm not trying to disagree with you but I'm kinda a sucker for good remakes such as Transformers. I grew up in the 80's so that kinda took me back.
This may really get people stired up but I'd like to see a MacGyver remake. I know MacGyver was anti gun due to a childhood accident but I can't help but get into all the creativity he uses. Call me a dork, nerd or whatever but MacGyver is The Man!

I'll wait for The Simpson's II and Family Guy movies.

Seriously, if Hollywood had an original idea, they wouldn't know what to do with it.

I don’t know about this one, if is like the original where they would shoot up 10,000 rounds without hitting anyone I think I will pass.

Hmmmm, thought this post was 10 years old...it's been about 40 years since Holywood had an original idea. I watch those old B & Ws from the 40s and 50s and they really had some great plot lines and some well thought through drama but they've lost the bubble ever since.

They were Unbelievable Generation X's in .555-1212 caliber......
And they NEVER ran dry!! NEVER!!!
They re-generated their own ammo supply!!!
Of course.....the shooters were all as accurate as a barn door.....
But, hey, it had its following....
I just didn't happen to be among them......

I have to agree, Hollywood has hit rock bottom. Between political correctness and a fixation on special effects, Hollywood has lost it's talent and creativity. What passes for acting nowadays is embarassing. We've replaced Humphrey Bogart and Alec Guinness with the talentless likes of Lindsey Lohan and Nicolas Cage.
The great acting and writing talents have all faded away.

Sorry, gotta say it, craving a comeback of "The A team" is like hoping a head ache will return. That was one of the shows that led hollywood down the path of mediocrity. JMO

I think it will be a dose of fresh air after Hollyweird's latest attempts at "creativity." If you can't come up with NEW good stuff, might as well repeat the OLD good stuff.

Hollywood hasn't come up with a new idea since the 50's. Same plots except with modern (poor) dialogue, special effects (gore or blue people) and more explicit scenes (removing the audience's imagination from the experience.)

    You're close!

    From wikipedia:

In early episodes the team used M16 rifles, while in later episodes they used the Ruger AC-556 rifles, a selective-fire version of the Mini-14. Hannibal is also seen using an M60 machine gun in some episodes as well as a Micro-Uzi. Hannibal's sidearms are either a nickel plated Smith and Wesson M59 9 mm or a stainless steel Smith and Wesson 639, however in the episode "Black Day at Bad Rock" he is seen carrying a Browning Hi-Power. Many antagonists and members of the team are seen using 1911s as well.

After seeing the ad for the new Karate Kid movie, I must agree.

Look at it this way, it can't be any worse than the TV series.
