I'm sorry, but you just can't replace that crew.

Remakes are usually disappointing. An example would be what passes for James Bond movies of late.

I've been writing story ideas for years.....hard to get them seen (read) because everyone is afraid of losing their job because they recommended something that was no good....but, get ONE person to like something....now, everyone likes it....welcome to Lemming Land a/k/a Hollywood.....we have hope in our hearts that one day we shall overcome.....truth be told, if they sucked, I'd stop...but they don't so I think I'll keep trying.......

Maybe they will be allowed to shoot the bad guys instead of just shoot at them.

I gotta admit being a kid of the 80s, I wanna see it. Just out of morbid curiousity. The new superhero movies, have been much bette than the old 60s 70s 80s versions, maybe these will be entertaining. I kind of liked the Starsky and Hutch remake. Gotta hold out hope. I dont think Red Dawn is a rumor, they are in production. One of Tom Cruise's kids, Connor is in it.

Geez, watching the beginning of Red Dawn you would almost think they were talking about today....Weak-willed democratic administration, Mexico in near-revolution, etc......

Studio execs know that original concepts don't generate as much revenue. You can go with a predictable plot, sign up some A-list actors, or fund the pic yourself.

    End of story.
