Census Worker's Dog Bites Man in St. Louis
Census Worker's Dog Bites South St. Louis Man - Video
Wow, Lot's going on regarding census takers these days.
ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI-FOX2Now.com)
A Census worker's dog
took a bite out of a South St. Louis man. Dan Vacca says a census worker approached him outside his South St. Louis condo on Tuesday. He thought it was odd that the worker had his dog with him. While he was answering questions, Vacca says the dog jumped up and bit him in the stomach. He is not pleased to say the least and wonders why the worker was allowed to leave with the dog.
Animal control officer says it will monitor the dog for rabies. The case will be reviewed to see if the dog can remain with it's owner.
The census taker was unavailable for comment.
People getting shot over census... Census worker's rottweiler attacking people... Convicted sex offenders working as census takers.
I'd say the present administration has a good handle on taking this years census, wouldn't you? <---- sarcasm alert!
Makes you almost not want to answer your door for anyone claiming to be a Census Worker!

If you do answer the door, have your cc drawn behind the door until you determine exactly who they are!

You know, if you send the form back in, this probably won't happen.

I wouldn't bet on it. I rec'd two forms in the mail - sent the first one back in. They have come by twice for info on my house, and other times for info on my neighbors.

I filled out my form when I received it, but still had a census worker come by my house saying I hadn't filled it out. Told him I already sent it in, and he was insistent that I fill it out again because it must have been lost in the mail. Told him no again, and he became very pushy and on the edge of being belligerent about me filling it out. That's when I slammed the door on him.
He had the big orange "census worker" vest on, had census ID, but something didn't seem right the way he acted. I'm pretty sure he was a legitimate census worker, probably just had the "I'm from the government you have to listen to me" attitude.
