Don't get tunnel vision
My wife called me, and stated she had been involved in a car crash. I grabed the camera, my G30 in a Safe Packer, and headed out the door. I took some pictures, asked a few questions, and came home. As I was in bed thinking about the problems this is going to cause. I realized the whole time I was at the seen my focus was on what I was doing, and I had no real awareness of my surrounding. Perhaps in the back of my mind, if some thing started to happen I may have become aware, before it got out of hand.
In my every day life I am actively looking around, and very much aware of my surroundings. So this was a little shocking to me.

I find it difficult to be aware of 1 thing , while concetrating on another. It is hard to focus on a problem , yet watch around.

This is both normal and predictable but - maybe encourage that extra sense portion of the brain to ask when in such situations - ''am I taking in everything?"
Easier said than done but worth trying to cultivate.
I do hope your wife was unharmed.

Hope everyone's OK. Seems like you ID'd a problem we all might struggle with, and that's the first step. After that - just practice using your skills while still being aware.

My wife is ok but the other guy is havening neck problems, I am not so sure about that. I think it is a scam.
I am glad the problem happened now, and not later in a bad situation.
