Fun time begins
gee, our first storm (minor) of the season.
i wonder if people are gonna freak out as usual.
don't really want a bad one, but this one could bring us some badly needed rain.
maybe i'll take the day off tomorrow (doubtful) and watch all the unprepared people jam the local lowes and walmart.
work oughta be interesting, because only about 5 to 10 people took advantage of our spring generator tune up.
i'll probably be up to my eyebrows in non running gennies:icon_neutral: .
Freak out ! ? ! .....Up here in Philly the news is going nuts! They are plotting its course and "informing" us of the damgate it could do up here.
I feel the local new's job is to try to scare the masses. :gah:
It makes them more easy to "shepard".
Good luck, though. Hope it turns out to be nothing.
The winds are high today in Tampa, but there's not much rain right now.....very cloudy though.
You would have thought it was a Cat 5 hurricane the way the local news morons were talking - "Sustained winds of 35 mph, with gusts to 47 mph." Please, a good thunderstorm has more wind than that. "Rain affecting half the state!" Good, maybe the wildfires that keep shutting down highways will stop. And that name - Alberto. They named it after a hairspray?
