We aren't really all that far away from this with those new back-scatter machines that show more than TSA seems willing to admit to.
Already there was one well publicized physical fight between TSA employees when one was teased about the size of "something" after going through such a device as part of a training exercise. So, all those claims about blurry images and so forth seem a bit, well, like BP talking about the hole they drilled in the earth.
It is only a matter of time before criminals start snatching photos and selling the images on-line. And, it won't need to be TSA employees who break the law. It could be electronics techs from the companies that build and service these complex machines.
Yeah, but no need to sweat it, after all it's no big deal (pun intended). People make more out of nudity than it deserves. It's all situational, the female nurse sees you nude and may even wash your private parts and that's okay, but a neighbor lady may go into spasms if she notices you getting a tan in your own back yard. Time to grow up America.
Eventually, it is going to come to strip searches fo revery passenger. You can go to a dozen sites online and find an object that could be used as a deadly weapon that will not alert a metal detector, and eventually, there will be a product that can pass the Xray devices...
If I can avoid it, I do not fly. And that was before the Xray scanners... now, I try to avoid it even more.
