Pretty cool... The time is appropriate with all that's going on in the world and how our enemies view this administrations weakness!

Foreign governments may not have liked G.W. Bush, but they sure as heck feared what he would do if we were attacked again, after 9/11.

Today, they see.... Well, I won't go there. Don't want to risk having your thread closed.

I dont think this is the trailer...

I made this a couple years ago to test out some new equipment and software...way before the studio was actually remaking it, and figured I'd put it up. Was to be used to get funding for a real remake. Trailer for the remake of the 1984 film "Red Dawn." This time the Chinese will be invading us, not the Russians.

I just hope they do it well... so many remakes are just garbage! And they won't stop making them! They won't be happy until they have raped my ENTIRE childhood.

Oh I know it's not real. I just think it's neat they are making a new one. I'm still waiting for the real trailer. Go search Youtube, there are all kinds of videos about the remake and filming of it.

It's (quite obviously) not the official trailer for the forthcoming movie.

The issue I have (and I'll see the movie anyway) is that there simply isn't a nation - or even a group of nations - that have the force projection capability to put any significant number of troops on US soil. I know, I know, suspend my disbelief, but the idea that hundreds of thousands of enemy troops could - SURPRISE - appear, fully combat ready, hundreds of miles deep into US soil is just silly...
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

Interesting that the "trailer" indicates a release in the summer of 2009. Don't think they're going make that deadline.

IMDB gives a release date of November 24th 2010.

For those that aren't familiar with the site The Internet Movie Database (IMDb) is the best source I've ever found for movie (and TV show) information.

Here's the link to what they have to say about Red Dawn (2010)........

I saw the original in the theater when I was 12. I was all ready to head into the woods and join the Wolverines! I bet today's kids will just laugh. Hopefully not.

Funny, I heard that Red Dawn 2010 was about the first Communist President being elected in the U.S.

That is simply not true! He actually was a Socialist/Marxist.
