Talking Some fun range time today!

My buddy came home from Iraq on leave for a few weeks so we decided to do some guy things, and one of those things included going to the range. Here are some videos below. These were shot from my iPhone and for some reason it only does 15 seconds at a time.

This is some fun... Pro2A style All the guns in the videos are mine. He doesn't have any as of yet. Enjoy!

He is in the first 5 videos:
YouTube - Shooting the Mosin Nagant
YouTube - Shooting the M1 Garand
    YouTube - Shooting the WASR-10 AK-47
YouTube - Shooting the Auto Ordinance 1911
    YouTube - Shooting the 1911

I am in the second 5 videos:
YouTube - Shooting the Mosin Nagant
YouTube - Shooting the M1 Garand
    YouTube - Shooting the .40 S&W FEG P9M
    YouTube - Shooting the WASR-10 AK-47
    YouTube - Shooting the 1911

    Hey, fun stuff!

One thing that stuck out at me when you were shooting the AK, though, and possibly the Garand - try to work the trigger from the reset position. In the AK it looked like you allowed the trigger to go completely forward, almost to the point of your finger coming off it.

If I hadn't been found guilty of the same "offense" I wouldn't have noticed it!

Sticky bolt on the Mosin, huh?

I always look for positive criticism. We all have to learn some time, so I'll take those pointers for next time. As for the Mosin, it's better then it was. I actually had to cut the bolt spring down and wet sand the firing pin a bit with some JB Bore Bright just to get it so we didn't need a hammer or a 2x4 to knock it loose. At least now I can use my hand.

Check that video for some ideas for easing that sticky bolt (chamber smoothing).

That is actually the video that I watched in order to fix it. Before I did what he showed I literally needed a hammer to get the bolt loose. At least now I can use a swift smack with my hand.
