thank you for the prayers
I just wanted to thank everyone for their prayers. I recently returned from a combat deployment in Afghanistan, and many here sent their prayers for my fellow Marines and I. Welcome home, thank you, and Semper Fi.
A man fires a rifle for many years, and he goes to war. And afterward he turns the rifle in at the armory, and he believes he's finished with the rifle. But no matter what else he might do with his hands - love a woman, build a house, change his son's diaper - his hands remember the rifle.

I dunno, I last about 4 or 5 months tops before I start missing it. Not all of it, certainly, but you know what I mean...
